1 SCOPE 

This standard specifies the electromagnetic emission limits, immunity performance and test methods for vehicles and their electrical/electronic sub-assemblies (ESA).
This standard applies to the vehicles of Categories M, N and L and their ESAs. Category O and other vehicles may use this Standard as a reference.
