1 SCOPE 

This part of GB/T 5137 specifies the test methods for optical properties of safety glazing materials used on road vehicles.
This part applies to the safety glazing materials used on road vehicles (hereinafter referred to as “safety glazing material”). This kind of safety glass includes the glass products processed from all kinds of glass or composed of both glass and other materials.

2 TEST CONDITIONS

Unless otherwise specified, the test shall be carried out under the following conditions:
a) Ambient temperature: 20°C ± 5°C;
b) Atmospheric pressure: 8.60104 Pa to 1.06105 Pa;
c) Relative humidity: 40% to 80%.
