 1. SCOPE

 This Standard specifies the dimensions of the 50 [Ф 50.8 mm] fifth wheel coupling pin which is used for coupling semi-trailers to prime movers.

 NOTE: This coupling pin is not suitable for extra heavy-duty vehicles. 90 [Ф 89 mm] fifth wheel coupling pin shall meet the requirements of GB/T 4607.

 In addition, this Standard specifies the dimensional characteristics necessary for mounting and interchangeability.
