 1 SCOPE

 This standard specifies the technical requirements, installation and test methods and inspection rules of adaptive front-lighting system (hereinafter referred to as "AFS" or “system”) for motor vehicles.
This standard applies to the AFS of Category M and N vehicles.

ECE R99 Uniform provisions concerning the approval of gas-discharge light sources for use in approved gas-discharge lamp units of power-driven vehicles 
3 TERMS AND DEFINITIONS

 For the purposes of this standard, the terms and definitions given in GB 4599-2007, GB 4785-2007, GB 21259-2007 and GB 25991-2010 and the followings apply.
