 1 SCOPE

 This standard specifies general reliability test (on the rack) methods of drive motor system for electric vehicles, including load specifications of reliability test and evaluation methods of reliability. 
This standard is applicable to the drive motor system for electric vehicles whose final power output is separately provided by a motor or jointly provided by a motor and an engine.
