 1. SCOPE

 This Standard specifies technical requirement and test method for the protection of occupant in the outer front seat in case of vehicle off-set frontal collision.

 This Standard is applicable to Category M1 vehicles with total design mass less than 2500 kg. Category M1 vehicles with total design mass of more than 2500 kg and other Categories of vehicles may refer to this standard.
