 1. SCOPE

 This Standard specifies dimensions to ensure interchangeability between a tractor vehicle and a coupled semi-trailer.

 This Standard applies to articulated semi-trailers that fit with 50 fifth wheel coupling pin according to GB/T 4606. The specification permits the same semi-trailer to be used with either two- or three axle tractors.

 This Standard is not applicable to special combination types such as low-bed or tipper vehicles.
