 This standard specifies the terms and definitions related to electric vehicles. 
This standard applies to complete vehicle, drive motor system, rechargeable energy storage system (RESS) and charger of electric vehicles.

 3 TERMS AND DEFINITIONS

 For the purpose of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 2900.41, GB/T 19752, GB/T 24548 and GB/T 30038, and the followings apply.

The vehicle that is driven by motor and of which the propulsion energy is completely provided by the electric energy; the electric energy driving the motor derives from on-board RESS or other energy storage devices.
