 1 SCOPE

 This part of GB/T 18384 specifies the requirements for rechargeable energy storage system (REESS) of voltage class B propulsion circuit system of electrically propelled road vehicles (EPRV) for the protection of persons inside and outside the vehicle and the vehicle environment. 
This part applies to the EPRVs whose maximum working voltage of on-board propulsion system is voltage class B. Electric motorcycles and electric mopeds may also refer to the provisions of this standard. 
This part does not apply to non-road vehicles, such as material handling trucks and forklifts. 
This part does not apply to providing instructions for manufacturing, maintenance and repair of EPRVs. This part excludes mechanical and electrical flywheel (vehicles).
