 1 SCOPE

 This Standard specifies the photometric performance, test methods and inspection rules of headlamp equipped with filament lamps and sealed headlamps for motor vehicles.

 This Standard applies to various types of headlamps for motor vehicles in Category M and N (except headlamps equipped with gas-discharge light sources).
