 1 SCOPE

 This Standard specifies the limits for fuel consumption of heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
This Standard applies to the commercial vehicles fuelled by gasoline or diesel with a maximum design total mass exceeding 3,500 kg, including goods vehicles, semi-trailer towing vehicles, buses, dump trucks and city-buses.
This Standard does not apply to the following special-purpose vehicles, e.g. special goods van, special goods tanker, special tipper, special goods box, special goods crane and special construction vehicle, etc.
