 1. SCOPE

 This standard sets the limits and measurement methods for evaporative pollutant emissions from motorcycles and mopeds.

 This standard specifies the type approval requirements for evaporative pollutant emissions from motorcycles and mopeds, the production conformity inspection and examination methods.

 This standard is applicable to motorcycles and mopeds (hereafter both referred to as ‘motorcycles’) that use petrol as fuel.

 2. NORMATIVE REFERENCES

 The provisions of the following standards through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard. For dated reference documents, all later amendments (excluding corrigenda) and versions do not apply to this standard; however, the parties to the agreement are encouraged to study whether the latest versions of these documents are applicable. For undated reference documents, the latest versions apply to this standard.
