 1 SCOPE

 This Standard specifies the technical requirements, testing methods and inspection regulations relating to the photometric characteristics of front position lamps, rear position lamps, stop lamps, direction indicator lamps and rear registration plate lamps for use on motorcycles and mopeds.
This standard applies to front position lamps, rear position lamps, stop lamps, direction indicator lamps and rear registration plate lamps for use on mopeds and motorcycles.
For the purpose of this standard, various types of signaling lamps mentioned above are also referred to as “devices”.
