 This Standard specifies the symbols for controls, indicators and tell-tales for motorcycles and mopeds, as well as the colours for light signal units of motorcycles and mopeds.

 This Standard applies to controls installed on the instrument panel and near to the driver of motorcycles and mopeds; however, this does not mean every control listed in this Standard must be used.

 This Standard applies to motorcycles and mopeds (here after referred to as motorcycles).

 2. TERMS AND DEFINITIONS

 The following terms and definitions apply to this Standard.

 2.1. Control

 The device used by the driver of the motorcycle to change the working status or functions of certain equipment.

 2.2. Indicator
