 1. SCOPE

 This Standard specifies

 − The limits and measurement method for tailpipe emission pollutants from two wheel or three wheel motorcycles on the running mode, requirement of emission pollutants from crankcase, and the durability of anti-pollution devices.

 − The requirements for type-approval of two wheel and three wheel motorcycles at
China Stage III, and the check and verification method of conformity of production.

 This Standards applies

 − To two wheel or three wheel motorcycles equipped with positive-ignition engines, and its total mass does not exceed 400 kg, engine capacity is greater than 50 ml, or maximum design speed is over 50 km/h.
