 1 SCOPE

 This standard specifies the positions, strength requirements and test methods of safety-belt anchorages, ISOFIX anchorages systems and their top tether anchorages for child restraint systems of vehicles.
This standard applies to vehicles of categories M and N with regard to their anchorages for safety-belts intended for adult occupants of forward-facing and rearward-facing seats.
This standard also applies to vehicles of category M1 and N1 with regard to their ISOFIX anchorage systems and their ISOFIX top tether anchorages intended for child restraint systems.
