 1 SCOPE

 This Standard specifies the terms, definitions and test procedures for the protection of the occupants of the front outboard seats in the event of a frontal collision.

 This Standard applies to the vehicles of category M1, and category N1 of a total permissible mass not exceeding 2,500 kg, as well as multipurpose goods vehicles;
