 1. SCOPE

 This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, specifications and test methods for the head restraints of motor vehicle seats. 

 This Standard applies to the head restraints of motor vehicles in Category M and N as specified in GB/T 15089-2001.

 This Standard is not applicable to the head restraints of folding seats, sideward seats and rearward seats.
